This calculator can be used to determine the flame height and plume centreline temperatures based on correlations by Heskestad and McCaffrey.

**Equations**

The flame height correlation by Heskestad is given by L = -1.02D + 0.235(Q^{2/5})

L = Flame Height (m)

D = Fire Diameter (m)

Q = Heat Release Rate (kW)

The plume centreline temperature correlation by Heskestad is given by T_{0} = 25(Q_{c}^{2/5}/(z - z_{0}))^{5/3} + T_{∞}

The plume centreline temperature correlation by McCaffrey is given by T_{0} = 22.3(Q^{2/5}/z)^{5/3} + T_{∞}

T_{0} = Centreline Temperature (^{o}C)

Q_{c} = Heat Release Rate * Radiative Factor

z = Flame Height (m)

z_{0} = Virtual Flame Height (m)

T_{∞} = Ambient Temperature (^{o}C)
